Services & Fees

All counselling services are available face-to-face, online, or by phone.

In-person therapy sessions are conducted in my home office in beautiful Cooroibah on the Sunshine Coast. If you don’t like the idea of being around kangaroos, koalas, and other local wildlife, I can arrange to see you in a commercial office space in Tewantin, or Nambour (dependent on availability).

Online counselling sessions are convenient for you, and maintain the warmth and connection of in-person meetings, ensuring you feel supported and connected in a confidential space. If you have made a booking for an online session, you will receive an email with a telehealth link.

Walk-and-talk therapy sessions blend traditional talk therapy with the benefits of physical activity. It's a popular choice as it provides a relaxed setting outside a typical office or clinic environment.

Counselling for Anxiety

Anxiety is the most common mental health issue experienced in Australia. 1 in 4 people will experience anxiety at some stage in their life.

Everyone experiences anxiety from time to time. Normal worry can be motivating — it can help you with things such as getting to work on time or finishing an assignment. But in some people, anxious feelings don’t go away and are out of proportion to the situation.

You may be experiencing feelings that something bad is about to happen, that you are in danger, and that you are powerless to do anything about it. You are not.

Physical symptoms* may include panic attacks (a sudden and intense episode of fear) shortness of breath, dizziness, sweating, racing heart, problems sleeping, or nausea. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, please reach out. Anxiety is very treatable!

* If you are experiencing physical symptoms similar to anxiety, please see your doctor as soon as possible for a health check to rule out further health diagnosis.

  • Understand the underlying cause of anxiety.

Develop effective coping skills for improved long-term mental health.

Enhance emotional regulation and personal resilience

Grief and Loss Counselling

Everyone grieves differently! There is no right or wrong way to grieve. Grief does not unfold in a step-by-step manner, nor is it predictable.

You may be feeling completely numb, or you may be experiencing many intense emotions or physical sensations. The pain of loss can be overwhelming and debilitating.

Grief and loss counselling can also support you through the loss of identity after a life transition, anticipated grief, end-of-life counselling, and the loss of your dearly loved pet.

  • Allows you to explore and express your grief in a gentle and supported environment.

Together we develop coping skills to move through your grief.

In your own time, learn how to come to peace with your loss

Counselling for Depression

Depression affects 1 in 7 people in Australia. It's a serious condition that affects your physical and mental health.

It is a constant feeling of sadness and loss of interest, which stops you from doing your normal daily activities.

Different types of depression exist, with symptoms ranging from relatively minor to severe. However, it is important to know you are not alone and it is treatable.

  • Develop strategies to help you better cope with negative thoughts, and process difficult experiences.

Seeing a therapist regularly can provide valuable emotional support to help find out what is causing the depression.
